Motability

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair by exchanging their mobility allowance . If you receive either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA), the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP) , the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) you may be eligible to join the Motability Scheme.

Gleneagles Conversions part of the Automotive Group are an approved Motability convertor partner and work with the Motability scheme. The Motability scheme let’s disabled people utilise their government funded Mobility allowance to lease a new wheelchair accessible vehicle. Since the inception of the Mobility scheme in 1978 over 3 million people have been helped by Motability to have a new or nearly new vehicle.

The Motability Scheme is directed and overseen by Motability, a national charity that also raises funds and provides financial assistance to customers who would otherwise be unable to afford the mobility solution they need.
